Supported Living Team Leader – Leading Housing & Support Charity
£21,254-£21,784 per annum
Permanent, 38 hours per week
Surrey – Caterham, Woking, Ottershaw, Horley
TPP’s client is a well-known housing and support organisation in the Surrey area, specialising in Learning Disabilities. They deliver person-centred care to services users on the autistic spectrum, physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health needs.
As Team Leader, you will work within a small cluster of 4 bungalows. Each Bungalow caters for the needs of six individuals. As an integral member of the Service Team, you will be expected to lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to meet the needs of service users, promoting independence, and adopting a person-centred approach. You will have experience of supporting service users with learning difficulties. Experience in working with people on the autistic spectrum, who have physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health needs will be an advantage to you,
You will be expected to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins where required.
Our client will help you achieve your objectives with the support of the Service Manager and Registered Manager, to help you develop into your new role.
We are looking for a confident, dynamic, and innovative Team Leader, who will be responsible for promoting a culture based on respect and dignity for the service users, and for providing supervision and clear management to the staff team.
