TPP’s client a national community based charity who offer support service to vulnerable adults and young people in order to develop skills around employment, training and education and health and wellbeing.
About the role:
The service they are recruiting for is part of their NOMs (National Offender Management Service) contract. The role will be to supervise and support a team of case managers in order to enable them to provide a high quality support and guidance service to customers. The focus is to enable them to overcome barriers and to reintegrate back into society and stop reoffending.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of 9 Case Managers who advice and guidance to ex-offenders around housing, welfare, education and employment. You will be responsible for setting expectations and monitoring individual and team performances. You will be responsible for supervising case managers and reviewing their case load, ensuring customers are making progress as well as conducting regular quality checks on files and case manager activity. You will also develop and maintain effective communications with prison Head of Reducing Re-offending, Senior probation Officers within NPS and other stakeholders about CFO3 delivery. Another exciting aspect to the post is the scope for service development; you will work closely with the Operations Manager to identify the areas of potential development and work collaboratively to achieve this development.
You will have demonstrable experience of leading a team within a customer facing environment, have a strong background in the Justice system along with experience of engaging, supporting and advising customers with complex and/ or multiple barriers to success. You will also have key experience of advice and guidance around housing, welfare and training and employment. You will be a strong motivational leader with exceptional interpersonal skills in order to build and develop key relationships
