You'll be working closely and collaboratively with the Supporter Development Manager to manage the charity's busy programme of offline and online fundraising, including cash programmes, gaming products and mass mailers to regular supporters. This is an exciting opportunity for any direct marketing fundraiser who is looking to solidify their experiences at Officer/Coordinator level before taking a step upwards. Likewise, this is a similarly excellent opportunity for a relatively junior direct marketing fundraiser with some hands on programme management experience who is looking to take the next step in their fundraising career.

Key responsibilities:
*To deliver supporter-focussed direct mail, telemarketing, digital and mobile marketing campaigns to generate substantial revenue for the charity through acquiring new supporters and upgrading existing donors
*To make effective use of a variety of direct marketing methods to increase the retention and long-term value of the charity's supporters
*To keep up to date with audience profiles in order to guarantee that all fundraising activity is as supporter-centric as possible, whereby minimising attrition rates
*To be the day-to-day lead for external agencies, managing to deadlines and budgets and guaranteeing that all third party suppliers are producing the best results for the organisation
*Take a lead on developing the charity's digital direct marketing function, using the latest online and social media tools to drive engagement with the cause
*To implement campaigns in support of the charity's annual appeals using both online and offline media and actively input into the organisational supporter development strategy

The ideal candidate will have:
*Demonstrable knowledge of supporter development fundraising as well as a proven track record of using fundraising/customer databases to segment and utilise data
*Experience of designing and delivering project/campaign plans in order to deliver income growth
*Experience of building successful working relationships with third party suppliers
*Experience in delivering supporter development campaigns, including direct mail, telemarketing, prize-led, upgrade, digital and mobile marketing campaigns
*Experience of monitoring programmes in order to measure their effectiveness and make recommendations for future improvement
*A passion for the charity sector and striving to make a difference for service users through your day-to-day work

Closing date: Friday 27th February 2015
