An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established London homelessness charity as Supporter Communications Officer. The charity originated in 1969 from a small group of volunteers who decided to do something to help homeless people. From its first hostel, in a former Marmite factory in Vauxhall, the charity has significantly grown and provides innovative services to help keep the homeless healthy, housed and hopeful.

You will be responsible for the full project management, implementation, monitoring and review of a wide range of Direct Marketing communications both online/offline. You will project manage the cash programme with a focus on increasing response rate, income, engagement and donor loyalty among their supporters. Ultimately you will produce compelling, well written and on brand fundraising communications

To be successful in this role you will meet the below criteria:

  1. Experience of fundraising within the voluntary sector, with specific experience of managing a direct marketing based supporter communications programme.
  2. Experience of producing direct mail campaigns from brief, creative process, production, fulfilment and review
  3. A self-starter, capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
