A leading International Animal Welfare Charity is seeking an experienced SUN Systems Accountant for a crucial new role.

It is essential that applicants are both fully-qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and experts in SUN Systems installation and integration.

The role will involve:

-Implementing and improving SUN Systems accounting packages in several different countries/departments
-Lead the roll-out of SUN in the different country offices
-Lead on the accounting and coding methods of the systems
-Work closely with the Finance Business Partners and Accountants on delivering timely monthly reports, accounts and budgets
-Setting up protocols and administering SUN, tweaking some of the existing SUN Systems already in place

The ideal candidate will be:

-A fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc)
-Experienced in implementing and integrating SUN Systems (ideally V6.1) accounting package into a large organisation
-Capable of implementing all SUN procedures and processes across multiple-sites from scratch, in a timely and complaint manner
-Experienced in working with a large charity or not for profit
-An outstanding communicator, capable of liaising with different stakeholders in different countries

This role is a 2 year fixed contract with the possibility of extension.

The role is based in London but will include a minimum of 8 weeks travel throughout the year to Africa & the United States.
