We are currently working with a large, well-known charity to recruit a Statutory & Lottery Fundraising Manager to cover maternity leave for 9-12 months. The charity works to support the lives of people with learning disabilities and is based in Central London.
The role will involve supporting the Senior Statutory Fundraising Manager to work with an agreed portfolio of grant-giving bodies, primarily lottery and statutory funders. You will identify suitable income opportunities and work with colleagues to create bids in line with the charity's strategic priorities, focusing on funding streams giving £50,000-£1,000,000. You will also be required to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Where appropriate they will need to influence and lead these people and provide accurate information and reports in a timely fashion.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
*Experience in building and maintaining strong positive relationships and partnerships
*Educated to degree level (desirable)
*Demonstrable experience of generating substantial voluntary income
*Drafting successful applications for lottery and statutory funders
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Clear understanding of the structure, criteria and processes of lottery and statutory fundraising
