Sporting Events Manager
Are you a successful fundraiser with experience in sporting events? Are you a skilled people manager, who has the ability to lead and energize your team?
We are working with a highly regarded local charity to recruit a Sporting Events Manager to join their award winning fundraising team. As Sporting Events Manager, you will maximise charitable income by developing a varied programme of sporting events and mass participation fundraising activity.
You will work alongside the internal marketing team to design, compile and oversee a marketing and communications plan to promote events and fundraising initiatives. In conjunction with the Corporate Fundraising team you will identify events and products that would enhance corporate relations and provide sponsorship opportunities.
It will be your responsibility to ensure that all events activity meets risk assessment and insurance requirements. You will also develop and oversee an effective stewardship path for event participants, ensuring excellent supporter care and encouraging repeat participation.
Salary: £26,302 - £35,225
Hours: 35 per week
