Sponsorship Sales Manager – 2/3 month temporary role

Our client, a leading Arts / Creative Membership organisation based in Central London are currently seeking an experienced Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their Development team. This role will be reporting into the Development Director and the hourly rate for this role is £17.95 per hour (equivalent of £35,000 per annum)

The post holder will be responsible for generating new business for the organisation by speaking with current contacts, expanding existing business whilst also creating new contacts for the organisation. The overall aim here is to develop leads, business and sponsorships. This role involves a lot of work over the telephone and email on a day to day basis.

Expertise and experience required in this role are listed below;

•    Previous experience in a sales role
•    Previous experience of generating new business
•    Knowledge around sponsorship deals and how this form of marketing is beneficial to businesses
•    Excellent communication skills both written and oral, including a great telephone manner
•    Fast learner and a good team player
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Commercial mind set

Duties and responsibilities;

•    Promoting the benefits of working in partnerships to increase sponsorship
•    Researching new companies that the organisation can potentially work with
•    Identify and research key contacts
•    Work through a calling list of business leads and contacts
•    Cold calling and also warm calling organisations and suppliers
•    Setting up business meetings
