The position of Events Officer will help to contribute to the annual 16 million fundraising target. There are around 11 fundraisers within the team. You will work on special events, including ticketed events that include a Carol Services, and closed committee event led events which include opera recitals. You will work closely with and report to the Head of Events to plan the organisation and delivery of events from end to end. You will offer high quality administration support to the Events Committee and work with the Gift Administration team to set up financial appeals for income generating events.
You will have a professional and mature work ethic and have the confidence to speak with donors and academics. You will have a sound eye for detail to ensure that all records are kept up to date. Previous experience of event organisation is necessary with basic understanding of event management and fundraising. You will also have experience of using a customer relationship management system (CRM).
You will receive a salary of around £25k, 25 days annual leave and a completive public-sector pension.
