This is a fantastic opportunity to join this disability charity as an Event Manager who will be responsible for managing a major event which is going to deliver over £800,000 of income to this charity.
This is a six month contract role and you will be working with senior stakeholders internally and externally and will manage expenditure budgets. You will be responsible for the event logistics from venue sourcing to guestlists.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- A track record overseeing and delivering highly successful events including gala dinners
- Experience of managing stakeholders of the highest level, working with high profile volunteers, celebrities and other key contacts
- Highly developed written, verbal, communication and negotiation skills
- Effective numeracy skills and recording of financial data in a clear and accurate manner
