TPP Not for Profit are currently working with several charities throughout the London Boroughs and surrounding counties who are focusing on re-engaging adults and young people who have suffered from substance abuse or have learning needs with the prospect of entering work or training.
Due to these programmes still being developed fully, they are currently looking for sessional tutors, but there may be opportunities for extended contracts, full time and even permanent work once cohorts are more established.
ICT skills are one of the key areas that they are looking to develop, covering basic computer functions and keyboard/mouse skills as well as how to job hunt and apply for roles online.
Group sizes will range from 8-20 students, depending on the programme and will consist mainly of people aged 18years and over.
Although PTTLs or IAG qualifications (or similar) are desired, it is not essential so long as you have experience of working in similar settings.
Pay rates are from £8ph- £20ph upwards, depending on the programme and your experience.
