A great opportunity to be part of a highly effective health charity who funds medical research into key health areas.
They are looking for an experienced individual who will play a vital role in securing income to support the organisation's strategic objectives by developing relationships with medium and large funders.
The Key duties will include:
*Developing a strategy for maintaining and maximising income from charitable trusts foundations.
*Maintaining and developing existing relationships with all charitable trusts and foundations on individual portfolio and maximising income received.
*Researching charitable trusts and foundations from various sources to identify those that might support the work.
*Developing and preparing well-written applications for project funding and general appeals to charitable trusts and foundations.
*Achieving a yearly income target.
*Work with the head of department on large complex applications and relationships with key funders (eg: Wolfson Foundation).
Skills and Experience:
*Minimum of two years' experience of Trusts Fundraising for a charitable organisation.
*Experience of maintaining bespoke or generic databases.
*Developed, mature and persuasive writing.
*Ability to forge and maintain professional relationships.
