A leading financial education charity who provide expert advice and high quality educational resources to schools, colleges and universities, are looking for a Senior Programme and Services Manager within a newly created role to join their organisation at a very exciting time.
Reporting to the Head of Programme & Services, you will have the responsibility of managing some of the organisations education projects and programmes ensuring that they are set up, planned, delivered to a high quality and evaluated on time and to budget. The role will include the management of two experienced project managers.
This is a permanent role based in London with travel expected to deliver outcomes assigned to the role, £37K plus depending on experience.
The Senior Programme and Service Manager main responsibilities will include:
Direct line management of Project Managers to motivate and support delivery of programmes efficiently, effectively and to high standard.
Management of the organisations finance programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget and are effective, evaluated well communicated and impactful.
Assisting the Head of Programme and Services in the development and delivery of an integrated, sustainable financial education programme that supports teachers to embed the delivery of financial education in the curriculum.
Supporting the Head of Programmes to develop a compelling 2016-19 Access for All Programme Offer that provides a clear progression of knowledge, skills and attitudes to succeed in the 21st Century Workplace.
Providing a high level of education sector and financial education expertise across all programmes and services to support and enhance their development and delivery.
Providing advice and guidance to colleagues on how programmes and services can be positioned and communicated to schools, taking advantage of the wide range of drivers for financial education.
Acting as a financial education subject matter expert, advising the team on teaching and learning approaches to financial education across the curriculum, subject coordination and leadership, pupil progress and assessment of financial education across the curriculum and across both phases including post 16, approaches to initial and in service teacher training across all disciplines.
Criteria for the Senior Programme and Services Manager role include:
Proven ability to think and plan strategically to achieve successful outcomes.
Demonstrable experience in development and implementation of successful programme and service strategy.
Excellent project management skills.
Demonstrable analytical skills, be forward thinking and able to supervise and support operations and people who are not direct reports.
Proven leadership skills and ability to successfully co - lead to deliver projects and services effectively.
Knowledge of digital media applications to deliver and accredit applied learning educational programmes
Significant experience and knowledge of design and delivery of financial programme and service related issues.
Proven track record in strategic thinking, programme development and business planning.
