A small yet established health charity is seeking a Senior HR Officer to oversee and manage their HR function. You will report direct to the Head of Finance and Resources.
Main duties for the Senior HR Officer:
To provide any advice that's required by staff regarding their rights and entitlements
Deal with any ad hoc employee relations queries
Coaching line managers when required
To advise and support line managers with recruitment and retention
To support with writing JDs and undertake job evaluations when required
Absence management and reporting to payroll each month
Working with external HR consultants when reviewing policies and procedures
To manage all induction and leavers interviews
Essential criteria for the Senior HR Officer:
Must have full CIPD qualification
Must have extensive experience working within a generalist role
Ability to work independently
Experience of employee relations, reward, performance management and recruitment
