TPP is working with an exciting new charity that helps people from disadvantaged backgrounds to set up their own business and secure financial independence. The charity has achieved huge successes in a relatively small amount of time and now requires a part-time Senior Fundraising Manager to join the senior management team.
The Senior Fundraising Manager will be required to cover a number of areas critical to the future success of the charity. They will be tasked with raising awareness and increasing donations from existing donors, whilst also writing attractive proposals for trusts and grants, and organising an annual gala and charity auction. Above all, they will require creativity and proactivity to enable the charity to reach its ambitious goals.
Key duties in this position will include:
*Develop strategies and set goals to hit fundraising targets, and produce compelling and successful fundraising campaigns and bids
*Maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential supporters
*Produce supporting materials, copy writing and messaging, including success stories, brochures, press pitches and fliers
*Keep track of and identify new opportunities for fundraising for core and project funding from a range of sources, including trusts and charitable foundations; European, national and local government; innovation funds; and individual and major donors
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
*Demonstrable experience of successful fundraising from trusts and foundations, individual and major donors, and government funding
*Experience managing large projects and a variety of tasks within budget
*Degree or equivalent qualification
*Experience with a start-up is preferred
