Our client is an International Not-For-Profit organisation and this team in particular boasts a liberal & flexible ethos & working culture.
As a core member of the team, you will report into the Head of Change, working alongside 2 Change Managers running an overall project outside of the UK. Whilst a portion of the assignment is UK-based, you will be expected to spend most of the assignment overseas, most likely Asia and/or Africa.
You will provide the team support on the Change Management process which includes heavy involvement during the redundancy & consultation processes. In addition to this you may need to undertake some research work with local solicitors to clarify relevant local employment law practices as well as the willingness to be flexible to take on more general tasks associated with winding down a country operation (office closure-related, working with local authorities).
This will be an ideal role for anyone who has a number of years’ experience at HR Manager or above level. In addition, this role will suit those with specific experience of redundancy and change management projects and those who have previous international exposure working abroad within developing countries, ideally within Asia/Africa.
Although this role is predominantly based abroad, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of working 4 days a week from home when located in the UK, especially if you are located outside of London.
