An initial 3 month fixed-term contract Children's Residential Project Worker job for a leading charity in East London. Paying over £22.5k per annum (pro-rota).
Your new Charity
A market-leading Charity renowned for their innovative, life changing support and services to children & young people across the UK.
The Charity are well established and pride themselves on their standards of service to the service users as well as their employees.
Due to team growth, they are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join their service in East London.
Your new Support Worker role
As the Residential Support Worker, you will provide frontline support and guidance to the children & young people who live in the service and have learning disabilities.
You will be an inspiring and passionate Support Worker with a love to help children and young people to achieve an independent life and achieve their dreams.
Your duties will include key working, developing and maintaining agreed support plans, short breaks and days out, teaching life skills and day to day personal care where necessary.

What you will need to succeed
You will have a true passion and dedication to supporting individuals and contributing to their quality of life & independence.
You will hold demonstrable experience supporting children & young people with learning disabilities in a residential setting.
An NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent!) is required for this role, alongside an enhanced DBS check. If you currently hold an enhanced DBS on The Update Service, this is beneficial to your application.
