TPP's client, a national children's charity are looking to recruit a Residential Project Worker for one of their Services in East London.

Our client is a well-established charity who has been operational for over 100 years. They are dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and hard to reach children and young people.

The service itself is a short breaks respite service for children and young people with learning disabilities and/ or challenging behaviour.

The role of the Residential Project Worker is to work directly with the children and young people as part of a team to achieve the aims set for the project and organisation. The role entails undertaking routine household chores, personal care and community activities with the young people. As a Residential Project Worker you will be expected to write daily reports, complete (with your supervisor) cares plans and handle petty cash


To be considered for this role you will need to hold a NVQ level 3 in caring for Children and Young People or equivalent. Also, experience of working with children and young people within a residential or respite environment. You will also need to have paid or voluntary experience of working with children or young people with a learning disability or challenging behaviour.
