A well-established NFP organisation is seeking an experienced Research Grants Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the organisation developing proposals and bids.
Main duties for the Research Grants Manager:
Create a robust fundraising strategy for growth within the research department
Ensure that the organisation is fully aware of all research funding opportunities
To manage the process of responding to complex research funding opportunities
Securing research grants and driving activities through all stages of the submission
To write and contribute to publications
To pro actively network externally with organisations who may commission work of strategic interest
Essential criteria for the Research Grants Manager:
Experience of working within a researching funding environment
Good understanding and experience of undertaking systematic review in a healthcare setting
Strong grant writing expertise and experience of drafting a range of funding submissions including large complex applications within a research focus
Up to date knowledge of health and child health research
Tender and submissions experience
Ability to oversee the development and implementation of quality monitoring and evaluation procedures
