Would you like to join a well-established team working with one of the UK’s most highly regarded Children’s Charity?
We are working with a renowned Children’s Charity to recruit a tenacious and talented Regional Development Officer to cover the South West and Midlands. Candidates can work from home and 1 -2 days at an office in Bristol or Birmingham.
You will work with internal teams and external partner organisations as a Gifts in Will Ambassador to significantly increase the number of endowments the charity receives. As part of the role you will devise and implement innovative new ways to promote endowments as a means of donating to the charity. This role requires a creative individual who can devise their own marketing and sales activities, including donor cultivation events, to secure future legacy income.

The ability to communicate with a variety of audiences in person, by telephone or by written communication, to develop and maintain relationships with prospects and supporters
Have experience of negotiating with senior internal and external stakeholders, who have differing priorities in order to achieve a common goal.
Knowledge and understanding of the principles, methods and practices of legacy fundraising
Knowledge of the process of making a Will and leaving a legacy
