About the client
Our client, a leading charity in supporting people with mental health issues are seeking a part time Recovery Support Worker who is interested in developing their career in the field of mental health and housing support. Our client offers exceptional services across their local community to people suffering with mental health issues; with strong values and company ethos, they truly lead the way in the delivery of mental health services.
About the role:
As the Recovery Support Worker, you will work closely with the Housing Officer across Westminster to help them to deliver a support service to vulnerable tenants with complex needs and mental health issues.
You will work alongside tenants to help them develop their practical skills and gain independence. The job focuses on developing relationships and working in partnership with tenants to achieve specific tasks and goals according to their support plans.
To be considered for this role you will have commitment to developing relationships with people with complex needs and ongoing mental health issues, excellent communication skills, experience of engaging with hard to reach people and have a positive attitude.
The role will be based out of our clients’ head office in Westminster but candidates may be expected to travel across Westminster and Wandsworth.
