A large and leading professional body are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to develop, review, manage and deliver appropriate quality assurance frameworks and processes to ensure the quality and integrity of examinations.

A full time, permanent position in the heart of London, the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:
*Managing and delivering a quality control of CIMA's examinations and assessments to agreed standards and timelines.
*Working with colleagues in the Education Team and specifically Examinations and Assessment to continually review and enhance the examination provision.
*Forming excellent internal working relationships to effectively and efficiently coordinate activities with other 'units' within the organisation, ensuring that KPIs are effective across the board and meet both operational and strategic objectives
*Ensuring Faculty contracts are in compliance with standard contracts for services and agreed within budget;
*Ensuring that the expectations of key stakeholders are managed in an efficient and timely manner;
*Ensuring that all assessments are prepared and delivered to the goal of zero defects
*Co-ordinating specific aspects of the examination administration as directed by the Director of Examinations
*End to end planning, implementation and delivery of quality control for examinations, monitoring the performance of professional level item banks and taking corrective action as needed.
*Monitoring the output of the Faculty members working on the assessments and any related materials.
*Ensuring that all guidelines leading to the release of results are adhered to
*Resolving issues and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all exam and assessment projects are delivered accurately, on time and within set budgets.
*Any other responsibilities as required, which may include project work, and development of assessments for new products as required
*Ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met.

Essential criteria for the role includes:
*Experience of computer based assessment, in terms of both assessment design and examination delivery in a high-stakes environment, with mid to high level volumes
*Experience of online/on-screen marking, and an appreciation of different forms of assessment, for example, auto-scored items (e.g. OTQs) and human marking
*Proven experience in a related higher education, awarding body or professional body setting
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Evidence of continuous professional development
