Our client, a specialist charity who provide a person centred service to older people in their care homes are seeking a diligent and resilient Quality & Compliance Auditor to join their quality assurance team.
With 18 care homes nationwide, our client prides themselves in offering a service that promotes the dignity, independence and choice of all individual they support. About the role:
The Quality & Compliance Auditor job is one of two roles in the charity and will be focusing on auditing all the charities homes; ensuring CQC care standards are being met, if they are not then recommendations will need to be made directly to the managers and the Quality & Compliance Assistant Director. Also, you will be responsible for auditing the homes in terms of health and safety. Each home will be targeted to receive 2 audits per year, 1 by you and 1 by the 2nd auditor. Where you will both work independently when auditing but collaboratively to identify any key patterns or reoccurring areas of concern.
You and your team will work collaboratively to develop and implement an effective internal auditing system to meet the above requirements.
As a Quality & Compliance Auditor you will report into the Quality & Compliance Assistance Director and the Health & Safety Assistant Director.
So, what is it you will need to possess to be considered for this role?
You will be required to have significant experience in Quality & Compliance auditing within adult care services as a key requirement is a working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations. A good understanding of health and safety will benefit you but is not as essential as the CQC experience, our client is happy to train you around the intricacies of health and safety in the work place.
As a Quality & Compliance auditor, you will be supported and encouraged to be assertive and deliver your findings in a constructive way to the managers in order for the relevant improvements to be taken on board and actioned.
