A professional body operating in the hospitality industry are currently recruiting for a Qualifications Manager to cover an 18month maternity leave, with a potential permanent opportunity into their growing Awarding function.
The key areas of responsibility for the Qualifications Manager role include:
*Work with colleagues to determine the strategic direction of qualification development and redevelopment
*Monitor education, training, qualification, regulatory and funding policy, communicate changes and the potential impact to colleagues and customers
*Monitor developments in industry sectors that the organisation operates, or plans to operate, in
*Project manage the development, accreditation and maintenance of qualifications, assessments and all associated material
*Monitor and review qualifications, assessments and all related material on a regular basis to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
*Be accountable for ongoing monitoring, performance, quality and timely delivery of the stated portfolio of qualifications (all related products) and all managed projects.
*Contribute to ensuring organisation's Quality Assurance is compliant with qualifications
*Contribute to e-learning platforms and development of e-assessment strategies
*Initiating and coordinating steering groups and development forums, in relation to qualification, assessment, product or service development, in order to ensure the qualifications are industry driven and fit for purpose.
The Qualifications Manager will ideally have the following experience:
*Experience of working within the education and / or training sector and / or awarding organisations
*Experience of working on the development or operation of qualifications
*Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders
*Experience of working within a regulated environment.
*Understanding of the Education and Training industry and how Awarding Organisations and their customers operate.
