A vocational awarding body based in Bristol who work with employers, training providers and FE colleges to develop nationally recognised accredited qualifications that are relevant to the workplace are currently recruiting for a Qualification Executive to cover the full product lifecycle.
The Qualifications Executive will maintain a portfolio of qualifications, designing, developing and reviewing the assessment support and materials for units and qualifications. You will ensure that all products are fit for purpose and in line with Ofqual regulations.
Main areas of responsibility will include:
*Management of a portfolio of qualifications across various sectors and centres throughout the full product lifecycle
*Work with sector specialists on the development and redevelopment of units and assessments
*Upload documents to the RITS and monitor submissions
*Work in partnership with external stakeholders including Ofqual, SSCs, SSBs and Centres whilst representing the organisation at meetings and events
Essential Criteria for the Qualifications Executive:
*Recent experience within an awarding organisation or the education/employability skills sector
*Experience of product and project management and strong understanding of the qualification product lifecycle
*In-depth knowledge of assessment development especially portfolio of evidence and question writing
*Detailed eye for identifying issues and concerns with the ability to solve technical issues
*Full understanding of current frameworks especially NQF/QCF guidance, principals and applications as well as an understanding of regulation, legislation and guidance surrounding qualifications.
This is a full time, permanent role based in Bristol.
There could be a degree of homeworking involved but 2/3days must be spent in the Bristol office.
