Job Description - EXPIRED

TPP are currently recruiting for this fantastic role working as Major Donor Officer for one of the country's most well-loved disability charities.

Based at their London offices in Angel, the position is a part-time role (3 days per week), paying £28,689 - £31,489. While this position is only part-time, the level of responsibility involved renders the role an excellent opportunity to progress your career as a major donor fundraiser by developing your skills and experience within the context of a very well respected, national brand.

The Major Donor Officer is responsible for supporting the charity's Major Donor Manager, delivering the Major Donor fundraising strategy for the charity and the wider international organisation of which it is a branch. The post holder will be directly responsible for recruiting, developing and managing a portfolio of High Net Worth Individuals capable of donating £5,000 and above. However, given the charity's vast networks, this should prove a fulfilling and relatively straightforward challenge for any major donor fundraiser.

Key responsibilities include:
*Delivering in conjunction with the Major Donor Manager strategic and operational plans to secure income from high net worth individuals
*When appropriate, solicit gifts at face-to-face meetings, occasionally involving senior internal and external stakeholders
*Work closely with the charity's senior staff to cultivate major donors and prospective donors

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
*In depth experience of major donor fundraising with a proven track record of success
*Experience and confidence in and making personal fundraising asks to High Net Worth Individuals
*Experience of collaborating with senior internal and external stakeholders in order to develop both existing and new fundraising relationships
*Proven ability to adapt style and tone in order to appeal to vastly different audiences

This opportunity is really not to be missed. For more information and a friendly, informal conversation about the role, call Luke on 020 7198 6040.

Deadline: Sunday 2 November 2014
