A leading nationwide consultancy for the construction industry is currently recruiting for a sessional NVQ Assessor in Contracting Ops Management in Plymouth
The main responsibilities of the Assessor will be to:
Take charge of student portfolios within their areas to ensure the completion of the NVQs are up to standard
To provide guidance in terms of their speciality for students they are allocated to.
To work to the consultancy's standards and expectations as well as the relevant regulations around the trades' regulatory bodies and examination boards.
Assessors will be paid on a portfolio based on the levels they are assessing.
A level 2 portfolio is a fee of £350, a level 3 portfolio is a fee of £400 and a level6 portfolio is a fee of £1000
The successful Assessors will:
Hold an Assessing qualification eg A1 Assessing
Have experience in their specialist trade
Hold a valid CSCS card
Drive and have access to a vehicle as you will be travelling to various locations.
Hold their own NVQ or City and Guilds qualifications
Have strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills
If the relevant trade qualifications are not there, then we might be able to consider the candidates, however the candidate should be able to prove his experience and a constant CPD.
