Night Project Worker
*Multiple vacancies available with part and full time opportunities*
Our client is a major housing association which focuses on homelessness. This particular service based in Haringey is a substance misuse and offenders one and this is where the project staff work from over a 24 hour rota.
It is a 12 bed service designed to bring in service users, starting from stabilising their behaviour and engaging them with services.
We're looking for a dedicated and dynamic Night Project Worker who will cover waking night shifts and ensure the safety and security of our clients and the building. You will also have the opportunity to get to know our clients who may want someone to talk to during the night.
Engagement and client involvement is a key element and the staff team support residents with this. As a Night Worker you will have the opportunity to be part of this; actively engaging with residents and providing them with support and assistance during the night. We'll need you to carry out administrative tasks, building checks and monitor issues like noise in the locality and residential properties. You also be responsible for appropriately dealing with any situations that arise during your shift and writing handover notes for the daytime workers.
You'll need to be punctual and awake at all times during your shift.
Your shifts will typically start at 22:00 and finish at 08:00 the following morning depending on the requirements of the rota.
You may also be required to attend some meetings and training during the day.
Please note that this role requires a DBS.
