Do you have a passion for News and Media Relations?
We are working with a well-loved National Children's Charity to help them find a News and Media Relations Manager to join their team in Glasgow. We are looking for someone who is confident in managing, planning and delivering news and media relations activities. In addition to this the ideal candidate will have significant line management experience. You will need to be creative and be able to manage and build high profile campaigns. This is an exciting fast pace role and each day comes a new challenge. This charity works with 1000's of children each year and changes lives every day.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the following abilities;
* Great Understanding of the marketplace and seeks new opportunities to increase business and develop and manage brand and reputation
*Demonstrates the ability to shape a research brief and to deliver intelligence, research and insight to inform marketing actions and decisions
*Develops and communicates the organisational vision and strategic agenda, sticks to the principles of the vision through turbulence, but recognises when it is time for change, and ensures that the vision and strategy is clearly communicated and transferred into action
*Demonstrable experience working within a media relations, PR or communications office of a national organisation.
*Demonstrable experience representing organisations to stakeholders and advising and communicating to senior staff, partners and coalition groups on UK news and media relation
*A confident and enthusiastic manager, with the ability to motivate colleagues and work with partners in achieving challenging targets in a dynamic environment
