This well established Community focused charity are recruiting an experienced Network Officer to help run a year long national membership/volunteer programme.
The successful candidate will have extensive volunteer coordination or membership engagement experience.
Main duties include:
*Establish and maintain a network of volunteer community representatives
*Facilitate peer - to peer support between network members and offer advice and support by telephone or email
*Coordinate online and face to face networking activities throughout the year
*Manage the administration of the network, including issuing welcome packs and recording activity in a CRM system(Salesforce)
*Develop surveys and feedback loops
*Monthly reporting with a focus on conducting strategic analysis, trend
*spotting and capturing the progression and development of all network activity
*Develop marketing and promotional materials for the network
*Approach existing and new private sector partners to secure sponsorship and exclusive deals to create an incentive package
*Draft briefings for a variety of stakeholders
*Support the communications team in a range of other tasks, as directed
Essential criteria for the Network Officer include:
- Demonstrable experience of membership or volunteer recruitment
- Experience of independently managing an online or volunteer network
- Experience of partnership working, particularly with the private sector
- Experience of securing sponsorship and/or exclusive deals
- Knowledge of community development principles and practice
- Experience of using Salesforce CRM
- Knowledge of current digital engagement techniques to motivate online activity
