Our client is a housing association that provides high quality, affordable homes to rent and buy in the Essex and East London area.

The organisation is seeking an initially temporary Neighbourhood Services Manager to take responsibility for delivering the housing management service and ensuring targets and deadlines are consistently met.

Main duties of the role include; leading the housing management and leasehold team, ensuring the teams are meeting objectives, managing a complex legal caseload and budget, providing monthly reports, deputising for Regional Housing Manager alongside other duties as requested.

The suitable candidate will have experience in managing a team within the Housing sector, possess excellent knowledge of relevant housing legislation and have a proven ability to manage and develop staff. Desired attributes include the ability to present financial/managerial reports to an audience, being a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and the ability to present Executive and Board reports.

A positive, can-do attitude is essential within this role along with a motivational, professional approach with fellow members of staff and external partnerships.

Rate of pay is £25-31 per hour depending on experience and is based in the East London area.
