Working alongside Family Support Workers, the role will involve undertaking mental health assessments and early interventions with a targeted number of young people aged 11+ during the project life. You will provide consultation and advice on the support of young people tackling behavioural challenges or significant mental health issues as such depression, anxiety or stress, to identify the initial stages of any mental health problems. You will keep abreast of developments in the area to enhance skills and use this insight to deliver training in mental health awareness and self-harm in identified services.
Reporting to the Children’s Service Manager, our client will help you achieve your objectives by collaborating with Senior Management and a range of peer professionals to help you develop into your new role.
