A great internationally focussed membership body based in London are seeking a Membership Co-ordinator to assess incoming membership applications and review their suitability to become members. The successful candidate will monitor ongoing compliance with membership standards and assist new members with the recruitment and induction process.
Main duties for the Membership Co-ordinator:
Review membership, both existing and new members, and monitor compliance around applications
Draft reports around the organisation's memberships
Coordinate induction of new members
Support members through transitional stages of membership status
Research and review potential members; checking suitability to the organisations membership alliance
Essential criteria for the Membership Co-ordinator:
Degree qualified (preferably in relevant subject area)
Experience in dealing with national NGO's
Experience undertaking organisational capacity assessment with national civil society organisations
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of issues facing National Civil Society organisations
