A world leading membership organization which promotes the significance of statistics and data are seeking an outstanding Member Engagement Manager to join their friendly yet professional team.  As a Member Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a successful membership engagement strategy.

As a Member Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing financial reporting mechanisms

Attending Committee meetings and maintaining relationships with Local Group Committee members

Overseeing Section and Local Group content via the organisaton’s social media/website

Ensuring all governance processes are run smoothly and adhere to regulatory guidelines

Organising bi-annual meetings

Identifying and promoting volunteer opportunities for all members

Coordinating the Graduate mentoring scheme

Liaising closely with the Membership Recruitment Manager to develop engagement programmes and communications

Working closely with the Events Manager to coordinate meetings and an events/conference programme

Building and managing relationships with partner organizations

Organising and delivering member engagement events

Collating Local Group activities and facilitating these to meet annual strategic objectives

As a Member Engagement Manager, you will be self-motivated and constantly seeking to increase membership. You will report directly to the Director of Membership and take ownership of all engagement projects, for example, volunteering.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a natural ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A keen eye for attention to detail is also essential as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office. A flexible and positive attitude is imperative as some travel outside of the office may be required.  Previous experience working within a membership body and volunteer management is desirable but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skillset within a highly credible organization that is committed to supporting their membership community. You will be employed on a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal, although this is not guaranteed.
