Major Gifts Fundraiser
We are working with a Children’s Charity to find a Major Gifts Fundraiser to work in Cardiff Wales.
The charity has a strong reputation for major gift fundraising and considers this as a key
future growth area. Their strategic focus is on securing six and seven figure gifts and pledged
income at all levels. Achieved by working with existing supporters and volunteer’s
to increase the prospect pipeline, providing first class stewardship and a tailored
supporter experience and ultimately making bold, multi-year asks for financial support.
Each regional major gift fundraiser is also a member of the regional fundraising team, linking
into and prospecting through local community and corporate networks.
It is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the following skills and experience –
Experience of building and managing effective fundraising relationships with high level individuals and/ or organisations and securing major gifts, preferably through face to face interaction.
Strong knowledge of philanthropic motivations and current trends in major giving across the UK.
An enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with the ability to organise and plan their own work.
Proficient with using Raiser Edge or a comparable fundraising CRM package
Passionate about the Charities goals and delivering excellence
