TPP is working alongside a national children's charity to recruit for a Major Donor Manager for their Fundraising team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be the first dedicated major donor fundraiser at this brilliant charity. They currently brings in around £200k per annum through individuals, and based on this success they have secured investment to bring in a dedicated fundraiser to work proactively in this area and develop a viable new income stream for them. This post will be responsible for drawing up the major donor strategy for the organisation, and then successfully implementing this in time for an anniversary year in 2015. The Major Donor Manager will have full support from the top down in identifying, researching, approaching and cultivating new and existing prospects to support exciting project growth.
The ideal candidate should have:
*A proven track record of personally securing gifts in excess of £50k
*Demonstrable experience of achieving income against agreed targets
*Experience using databases to identify prospective donors
*Demonstrable experience of recruiting new donors
