PAYE £14.20 per hour plus £1.71 per hour accrued holiday
TPP's client, a pioneering learning disabilities charity in London is seeking a Play Centre Team Manager to join their exciting Play and Youth services.
Our client has been established for over 50 years and provides quality services to people with learning disabilities of all ages. They have a strong set of values that runs right through the charity and is mirrored in the staff they employ into their organisation.
The Play Centre Team Manager role will be responsible for the management of an inclusive Play Centre for children with and without disabilities (aged 4 to 16 years).
This Team Manager job will report into the Play and Youth Services Manager are be responsible; to develop, deliver and manage high quality after school, weekend and holiday activities for local mainstream fee paying children and children and young people with complex learning, communication and physical disabilities. To provide effective leadership, management and supervision to 2 x Play Leaders who are responsible for daily operational management of the Play Centre and to a diverse team of play workers; providing supervision and support to the team in their delivery of structured activities.
A recognized early years or play work qualification to NVQ Level 3, with significant experience of supporting children and young people with and without disabilities in inclusive settings and ability to act as registered manager under Ofsted. You will also need to have experience of leading and managing a team that is delivering play opportunities.
You will need to be available to start in July for the temporary post and have a DBS registered on the update service.
