A well-established disability charity are seeking an experienced Legacy Administration Manager to join their fundraising team on a part time basis of 21 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within legacy administration and be taking the lead on legacy projects for the charity.
Main duties for the Legacy Administration Manager:
To review and manage all case files ensuring that payments are received and processed on time
To assist and maximise the values of estates
To develop and maintain good relationships with solicitors, relatives, executors and co beneficiaries
To provide the finance department with the relevant documentation required
To identify potential legal problems with legacy income
To produce monthly legacy statistics
To use Raisers Edge to provide information on donors
To work with the Marketing Manager and assist with initiatives
Essential criteria for the Legacy Manager:
Must have a strong understanding of wills and probate
Strong understanding of legacy fundraising and marketing
Working knowledge and experience of wills and probate
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Working with fundraising databases
Experience of managing legacy and probate issues
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
