TPP’s client, a leading children and young people’s charity are seeking a Project Worker to work across their Lincoln and Sleaford Leaving Care services.
About the role:
As Leaving Care Worker you will offer emotional and practical support to young people aged 16 years and above to help their transition to adulthood and independent living via 1:1 work or working in partnership with other agencies.
You will be responsible for developing Pathway Plans alongside young people and reviewing them on a 6 monthly basis.
You will bring with you experience of working with young people, knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting young people leaving care, and knowledge of the benefits system and housing as it affects young people. Using your skills and initiative you'll ensure that the service helps young people reach their full potential.
It is also essential that you hold a current driving license and have the use of a car to meet the requirements of the post.
As the role is temporary you will need to be immediately available (or have a 1 weeks’ notice) and you will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service and be able to provide 5 years of referencing.
