A leading international animal charity are currently recruiting for a permanent Learning Technologies and Information Manager to develop a sustainable shared learning environment for their staff across the globe as well as other users who benefit from the charity's work.
As a skilled learning technologist you will develop e-learning and taught programmes to create a culture of continual learning and knowledge sharing, as well as look at existing information and knowledge and use new and innovative ways to look at how this information is used, applied and shared.
You will be a "people person", able to teach people how to use the technologies, from uploading content to how best to access and use the platforms. You will be able to speak publicly on a national and international basis from stakeholders such as fundraisers through to veterinary surgeons and build relationships to discover the culture contexts of online learning as well as encourage the online sharing of best practise.
Coming from a higher education or similar charity background you will have had hands on experience developing and using a range of appropriate multimedia web development tools and learning technology strategies, as well as have demonstrable expertise in Moodle/Totara LMS and be able to work with subject matter experts unfamiliar with an e-learning approach.
