I am currently working alongside a leading national membership body who are home to a supportive, learning and team-orientated working culture.
It is an interesting time at this organisation and with an increasing workload, the HR team are not looking to waste any time in expanding their own horizons and are now looking to recruit a brand new Internal Recruiter to join their team on a part-time basis (21 hours per week).
As a significant member of the team, you will spend your time producing a recruitment strategy and implementing relevant documentation to support any change in the process, showing leadership on any new initiatives. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be given the opportunity to guide managers both prior to recruitment and throughout the process, whilst establishing external avenues to source external candidates that fit the bill in term so of quality and personality, in line with organisational values.
You will propose a recruitment strategy which matches up to their vision and research the appropriate avenues for recruitment, providing detailed reports which show analysis of spend and evidence of how this has been reduced. The successful candidate will receive a large amount of autonomy when stepping into this role, as you will be given the freedom to introduce new recruitment methods as well as design and implement efficient assessment processes. Your knowledge will also be a key factor to success in this role, as you will act as a lead to the HR Coordinator, managing their workload as well as building successful working relationships with recruiting managers to advise on best practice and chairing all interview panels, assisting with decision making.
This is an ideal role for those of you who enjoy managing recruitment budgets as well as displaying confidence in negotiation and influencing senior members of staff.
Your audience will include both senior management and external candidates.
