My client, is a top performing University which attracts students from all corners of the globe. The HR team has been undergoing a period of change and as a result, they are now looking to recruit a new HR Partner on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will join their team, which sits in an open-planned, friendly and collaborative environment. This organisation is ideally looking for someone who has previously worked within a higher education/academic setting and has at least 2-3 years’ experience as a HR Generalist.
The salary for this role is paying in the range of £34,000 - £35,900 and the package includes some fantastic benefits, including 30 days of annual leave, university & bank holidays and a generous pension scheme.
Reporting into the Head of HR, you will liaise with colleagues and staff across the HR department and provide an accurate and responsive service. You will be a key focal point in developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies & procedures. This role will be ideal for those of you who have a solid knowledge of UK & EU employment legislation and best practice.
As you settle in to the role, you will be heavily involved in managing all aspects of corporate ER which includes involvement in redundancies, TUPE and change management projects. In addition, you will take the lead to manage complex Employee Relations casework and oversee recruitment campaigns which will include sitting on interview panels.
