A leading national charity that offers support and social care to affected individuals are currently recruiting a HR Officer to work on a fixed-term contract, covering maternity for a period of 9 months. Salary for this role is paying £26,000. You will be response for acting as the main point of contact for the HR team, dealing with general queries & first level HR advice to staff. In addition, you will be accountable for providing advice & guidance on a variety of people management issues which cover performance management, learning & development, recruitment & selection, HR policy and employee relations. Effective internal communication throughout the charity will be key to succeeding in this role.
This role requires a previous track record of working within a HR department and working with HR systems and databases. Previous experience of introducing administrative and electronic processes to improve departmental systems is essential and knowledge of the recruitment life-cycle is advantageous. You will already be an effective communicator both at verbal and written level as well as have the ability to prioritise duties and work as part of a team.
