I am currently supporting a very well established disability & social care charity that has been offering treatment for a number of decades. Naturally, their working culture is caring, friendly, as well as progressive.
It has been a really eventful time for this charity, having recently undergone a period of positive change, which is ongoing, they are now looking for a new HR Manager for 4 days a week. This role is paying £42,000 pro rata.
Such change includes the implementation of new supported living services. It is a challenging time for the organisation which is predominantly funded by local authorities, therefore a need for greater internal efficiency is a priority.
As a vital member of the team, you will spend your time developing a recruitment & retention strategy that will contribute to maintain a stable workforce. This charity recognises that a new approach to work is required in order to conquer the challenges that lie ahead and the new HR Manager will be expected to encourage a culture of continuous learning & development in line with the training strategy.
This role is ideal for anyone with experience of managing & resolving sensitive & complex employee relations issues as your audience will also include external employment law advisers who you will liaise with to ensure that the organisation is appropriately represented on such issues.
