I am currently working exclusively with a fantastic community housing charity who are looking to recruit their next Corporate Services (HR) Manager to join their friendly, team-orientated & open-minded working culture.
As a central member of the team, you will forge a close working relationship with the Chief Executive in which you be given the keys to managing the facilities and administrative functions of the organisation. Here you will spend your time conducting a range of HR functions which will include recruitment & selection, performance management, reward & contract management, employee engagement and a range of employee relation including management of formal procedures.
We appreciate that some of the language could be new to you, however our client is very open minded regarding your professional background and I am more than happy to talk you through the role in further detail.
This role is ideal for those of you with experience of setting and managing facilities as well as the administrative functions of an organisation around areas such as IT, Data Protection, Insurance, Health & Safety and Office Systems.
With the opportunity to manage staff, naturally you will be a gifted motivator and your audience will also extend to working for & alongside the Trustee Board, therefore an understanding of what constitutes effective governance would be beneficial to your chances of securing this role.
If you are coming at this from a finance point of view, an understanding of the financial environment and constraints in which charities & Registered Providers operate will appeal, as well as a strong understanding of the role of Company Secretary to a level whereby the Trustee Board feel confident they are being supported to deliver their role effectively.
