Our client, a leading learning disability charity, is looking for a Housing Officer to join their expanding team.
The organisation is a firm believer that people with mental health issues and learning disabilities should be treated as equals in society and they campaign to change the stigma that's attached to these people. They aim to improve quality of life, raise awareness and influence a positive change in society's views.
The exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Officer with likeminded views to join this passionate organisation. The role will be home-based with frequent visits to clients across a designated location. The role will include a variety of aspects, including assurance that KPI's and delivery standards are adhered to, alongside meeting a consistent level of high quality service. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the housing sector as a whole.
Various factors will be measured and monitored such as carers feedback and tenants satisfaction. The Housing Officer will need to prove that they have installed plans to improve the service along with valid successes of these plans.
The successful candidate will be pro-active, supportive, knowledgeable and able to demonstrate positive outcomes.
Experience of delivering income management, delivering housing services and managing service quality will be necessary for this position. A thorough knowledge or the housing and care sector is essential along with the relevant housing-related policies and procedures.
