Opening hours

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Some ocassional weekends and evenings required

Location: Regents Park

Salary- £28,000-£30,000

Purpose of post:

  • To be part of a multi-discipline team providing administrative support to the Hospital Director and other managers
  • The Hospital PA will be a central point of contact for all staff and Consultants
  • Coordinating information and reports relating to the hospital e.g. SLAs
  • Practising privilege administration, maintenance of the key schedule, ordering stationery, security, coordination of on-call Clinical and admin rota and policy procedures files
  • Work as part of the Patient Services Team providing cover when needed at the Front Desk

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the coordination:
  • Clinical and non-clinical accidents, incidents and near misses reports
  • Safety alerts
  • Compliance- PSM lead
  • Risk Assessments
  • Ensuring all hospital rotas (off duty, nurse on-call, manager on-call, Consultant/Surgeon on-call) are distributed to relevant hospital staff and on the intranet
  • Day to day management of service level agreements (SLAs) for non-clinical suppliers
  • Typing of clinical and non-clinical reports e.g. compliance, audit
  • Supporting the Hospital Director in applications and administration relating to practising privilege agreements, including liaising with Consultants/Surgeons
  • Reporting maintenance and housekeeping issues as they occur in the appropriate books, liaising with the Facilities Supervisor
  • Ensure awareness of CQC policies and updates, attending all mandatory update courses
  • To participate with the team in projects and open evenings as required

Skills and Experience

  • Full Secretarial/PA skills including strong written communicaton
  • Computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, both internally and externally
  • Significant experience in a similarly multi-faceted, secretarial role
