An established Bereavement charity is seeking an experienced Helpline Manager to lead their team of 4, the successful candidate will have previous experience of team management within a helpline environment.

Main duties for the Helpline Manager:
Ensure the charity offers excellent bereavement support services to anyone that calls or emails
Ensure excellent service to anyone that approaches the online forum
Work closely with the marketing team to produce new material and literature for service users
Produce quality systems, collecting and reporting data
Oversee the coordination of events
Develop new policies and procedures to improve the quality and service of the helpline
Management and development of the team including regular 121s and training

Essential criteria for the Helpline Manager:
Experience of managing a helpline within a charity environment- ideally bereavement
Strong line management and development skills
Project management skills
Travel when required to meet offsite members of staff
