Our Client is a well known and progressive charity that supports disabled and disadvantaged people in making positive changes to their lives through training and employment.
They have an exciting new vacancy for a Trainer. The purpose of the role is to provide accredited training on the use of assistive technology training to people who work in Health and Social care.
You will support people to access the assistive technology that can change their lives positively. Your audience of health and social care employees and professionals will be relying on your expert knowledge and excellent communication and delivery to help them develop skills and expertise with assistive technology.
You will enjoy the benefits of working within an organisation that exudes genuine passion for their cause and can travel to local centres that support the organisation.
This role would ideally suit a Physiotherapist or an Occupational Therapist, however Health Trainers can also be considered.
If you have extensive Training experience backed up with health and social care background you should apply.
- Solid training experience
- Knowledge or the ability to learn about assisitive technology, its use, legislation and limitations
- The ability to plan and implement own work to deadlines
- A good understanding of the Healthcare system
This role involves nationwide travel and time away from home.
