A leading financial education charity who provide expert advice and high quality educational resources to schools, colleges and universities, are looking for a Head of Programme and Services to oversee the development and delivery of financial education programmes and services.
This is a senior role responsible for the provision of strategic guidance on all issues related to the programme and services. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the senior team to develop a sustainable financial education programme strategy that delivers both relevance and impact across the educational curriculum. The role will be responsible for developing new initiatives within finance education in pursuit of the organisation's ambition to ensure programmes are accessible and relevant to ensure all young people maximise their aspirations and potential, regardless of their future career.
The Head of Programme and Services main responsibilities will include:
Lead the development and delivery of an integrated, sustainable financial education programme that supports teachers to embed the delivery of financial education in the curriculum.
Oversee the continual development of the Quality Mark Service to increase the profile and currency of the organisation as a leading education charity in its roles as endorser of Financial Education Programmes.
Lead, line manage, motivate and support the programme and service team to deliver the programme efficiently, effectively and to high standards.
Oversee the management and coordination of external consultants and freelance programme and service delivery staff.
Support the Head of Education in the development and implementation of a centre lead engagement strategy that maxims programme benefits gained by teachers/lecturers supporting the programmes.
Oversee the mapping of all new programmes and initiatives that support centre leads to embed delivery of financial educational curriculum.
Represent the organisation externally, especially in education, political and third sector partner networks and consultations.
Criteria for the role include:
Proven ability to think and plan strategically to achieve successful organisational outcomes.
Demonstrable experience in development and implantation of successful programme and service strategy.
Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to successfully to co-lead delivery of projects and services.
Proven experience of designing and overseeing the delivery of highly effective customer focused services.
Knowledge of the digital media applications to deliver and accredit applied learning educational programmes.
Demonstrable track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
Proven track record of a range of programme development and business planning.
